To Suspend a Work Order

An approved work order can be suspended, but only by the user that approved the work order. When a work order is suspended, tasks for that work order will not appear in the Work Exchange folders.

  1. Open the work order in the Content pane.
  2. Click the Suspend link in the Task pane.

    The Suspend Work Order window opens.

  3. Enter a reason for suspending and click Suspend.

    The Work Order Status changes from Running to Suspended and all tasks in this work order are removed from the Work Exchange folders.

Note: The Suspend function is not currently connected to automatic email notifications. Users will not receive an email notifying them that the work order has been suspended or resumed.
